My first job was a cashier at a produce market. From working there, I learned how to work with different personalities and I gained customer service skills.

What was your journey like to get where you are?

I worked in the restaurant industry for most of my career, and decided that I needed a change. I went to work as a receptionist at a land surveying company and was very interested in the work they did, especially the creation of the plans. I enrolled at SMCC in the Architectural & Engineering Design program to see if this was for me. And I loved it. I am still in school and hope to graduate May 2023.
