We are thrilled to announce Richard Repsher has joined our rapidly growing construction services team as a construction inspector! Mr. Repsher has over 15 years of construction inspection, transportation construction, and construction supervision experience. He has worked for inspection and engineering companies on a wide variety of projects, including major highways, design-build, and infrastructure improvements. Richard is certified in concrete and asphalt testing, construction documentation, and highway construction. He and his family relocated from Pennsylvania to enjoy Maine’s outdoors and quality of life. Please welcome Richard to Sebago and to Maine!

Where did you grow up and what other places have you lived in throughout your life?
Born and raised in Easton, PA.
Favorite place(s) to go in Maine?
Any body of water that I can fish in.
What three traits define you?
Curious, Responsible, Fair.
What was your very first job, and what did you learn from it?
Dishwasher at Lafayette College. Listen and observe all aspects of the job before trying to make changes.
What is your favorite part of the type of work that you do?
Working with others to achieve a safe and aesthetically pleasing product.
What was your journey like to get where you are?
Started working as an inspector right out of high school as a trainee and learned from a lot of intelligent and well-rounded people, while doing the right thing and not lying even when I messed up (hey, people make mistakes!) I worked on different types jobs in different areas of the State of Pennsylvania learning different procedures. Asking A LOT of questions.

What are your hobbies outside the office?
Fishing, hiking, watching football, video games, and collecting sports memorabilia.
What inspired you to work for Sebago Technics?
The happy and welcoming energy I received during my interview process.
Favorite thing to do in Maine?
So far just going outside and taking in the views.
If you had to eat one meal, every day for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Porkchops, green beans, garlic mashed potatoes, and if I get a dessert -chocolate peanut butter ice cream with marshmallow topping.
Top three life highlights?
- Performing the half time show at the Nokia Sugar Bowl (1997 Florida Gators vs. Florida State Seminoles).
- Marrying my best friend and starting a family.
- Moved to Maine for a fresh start and new opportunities.

I can play the drums.
If you were an animal what would you be and why?
Polar Bear because they live in the wild and they are really good at fishing.
Where would you like to go on a dream vacation?
Germany.
Favorite Holiday and why?
Thanksgiving – FOOD!!!
What is the best concert you attended?
Blink 182 at the Sands Steel Stacks in Bethlehem, PA.

Tell us something that might surprise us about you.
I usually am a very happy person, even though my face looks like I’m mad at the world.
What are your favorite ways to enjoy the outdoors with friends and family?
During the day, fishing from a boat on a lake, and then a night cap at a fire pit.
When you think about working at Sebago Technics, what makes you proudest or most excited?
Sebago is the “one stop shop” of the AEC industry. Being able to learn all aspects, to every step of the construction process makes me most excited to work here!
