project Details
The Sebago team conducted topographic mapping and documented the location of roadway features, pedestrian infrastructure, drainage systems, and utilities throughout the downtown area.
The survey work captured essential information about pavement conditions, sidewalks, ADA accessibility features, underground infrastructure, and property boundaries to support the engineering design process. Benchmark control was established throughout the corridor, and coordination with property owners and utility companies ensured comprehensive data collection across the entire project area.
Future phases of work include title research and preparation of final right-of-way plans that will guide the implementation of downtown improvements. These plans will address any necessary property easements and right-of-way adjustments needed for the project.
All survey work was performed in accordance with professional standards and MaineDOT requirements, providing the design team with accurate and reliable data to support traffic and pedestrian improvements in downtown Presque Isle.
