project Details
Transforming public infrastructure through collaborative land development planning
Beginning in 2010, Sebago guided the City through feasibility planning and site selection for a consolidated campus to house Public Works, Solid Waste Transfer, Public Bus Transportation, and Parks & Recreation.
Following voter-approved funding in 2014, Sebago provided comprehensive civil and site design, permitting, and construction services. A phased approach was adopted for the project’s Highland Avenue location, beginning with the successful completion of a new solid waste transfer facility in 2015. The full 71,000-square-foot campus was completed in 2017 and includes a sand and salt storage building, a city fueling station, new utilities, and internal roadway infrastructure.
Sebago Technics provided end-to-end support—including project management, land surveying, civil engineering, environmental permitting, and landscape architecture—ensuring the new facility met the City’s long-term operational needs and environmental goals. This project stands as a model for municipal reinvestment and infrastructure modernization.
