project Details
Efficient engineering design
The project was assigned a tight schedule so that site and building construction could be started in spring or early summer to allow for a summer 2020 opening. Working in collaboration with K.W. Architects and TPD Construction, Sebago Technics received local approval from the City of Saco in May to keep the project on schedule.
The modern lumber yard and kitchen design showroom facility consists of an approximate 27,000-square-foot building, lumber trees for external lumber storage, two pole barns, expansive pavement surfaces and other site amenities.
The site design also accommodates the future expansion areas across the parcel. New roadway infrastructure was constructed to connect Route One to Cascades Subdivision, a large mixed-use development that provides connectivity between Saco, Scarborough, and Old Orchard Beach. The targeted location of Saco is centered between southern Cumberland County and northern York County.
