What places have you lived in throughout your life?

Syracuse, NY (childhood), Ithaca, NY (college) Copenhagen, Denmark (college), and Maine (North Windham, South Freeport, North Yarmouth, Falmouth, and Portland)

What three traits define you? 

Creative, loyal, community-focused

What is your favorite part of the type of work that you do?

Collaborative problem solving…and I love plants!

What was the most unusual or interesting job you had before Sebago?

I worked at the same firm for 28 years (since graduating from college) … so I’ll pick one of the most interesting projects while at that firm… working for the Passamaquoddy tribe assessing impacts to an ancient burial ground.

What are your hobbies outside the office?

Painting, ceramics, gardening, reading, family activities, and volunteering with community organizations (Portland Parks Commission, Family Promise, Deering Center Neighborhood Associations, Portland Trails, Portland Public Schools)

Favorite thing to do in Maine?

Exploring all the different landscapes with family (mountains, lakes, beaches, islands)

If you had to eat one meal, every day for the rest of your life, what would it be?

 Thanksgiving dinner

Top three life highlights?

Living in Europe/traveling to Ireland, wedding, having daughters

What is your hidden talent?

Dowsing

If you were an animal what would you be?

Monarch

Where would you like to go on a dream vacation?

New Zealand

What is the best concert you attended?

U2 in 1988

What are you excited about at Sebago?

Working with a multidisciplinary team

Tell us something that might surprise us about you.  

I’ve done shots of akvavit in a Viking burial mound. I have also swum in the North Sea.

Favorite place(s) to go in Maine?

Monhegan, Tumbledown/Mt Blue, Popham Beach, Kettle Cove, Little Sebago, Cutler coast…parks in my neighborhood.
