I grew up in Rio Rancho, NM, and went to college in Las Cruces, NM.

Favorite place(s) to go in Maine?

Any place I can grab some seafood by the ocean!

What three traits define you?

Determined, goofy, eager to learn.

What is your favorite part of the type of work that you do?

I like to see my designs come to life in the real world.

What was your journey like to get where you are and what inspired you to work for Sebago Technics?

I started my career working for a small engineering firm in Santa Fe, NM. In that environment, I had the opportunity to be a part of every aspect of big DOT projects and it had a major impact on me finding my identity as a Professional Engineer. After 8 years in transportation, I decided it was time for a change to continue my professional growth. Coming to Maine and working for a larger company that I felt could make an even greater impact was a big step in my career. The office culture at Sebago Technics has proven to be a perfect fit so far.

What are your hobbies outside the office?

I enjoy being active in nature, playing board/computer games, and trying new things.

Favorite thing to do in Maine?

Eat seafood.

I worked an internship for the Air Force Research Laboratory.

What are your favorite ways to enjoy the outdoors with friends and family?

Skiing or Mountain Biking.

When you think about working at Sebago Technics, what makes you proudest or most excited?

My previous engineering experience has been with a much smaller firm and I am genuinely excited to move forward in my career working with a bigger team. The environment at Sebago Technics felt like the right fit early on because it has provided that piece I had been missing through a multitude of opportunities for social connection and collaboration. I am excited to further develop my skills as a project manager by bringing the experience of working in a smaller environment to a larger team and a wider variety of projects.
