Sebago Technics, an employee-owned, Maine-based, creative engineering collective, is proud to announce the promotion of Daniel Riley, PE, to the position of Senior Vice President of Engineering. With over two decades of dedicated service to Sebago, Dan’s contributions have been instrumental in shaping the success and growth of our organization.
Dan joined Sebago Technics in 2001, bringing with him a wealth of experience from his tenure in engineering consulting in Colorado. From the outset, Dan exhibited exceptional leadership skills, taking on the role of Senior Project Manager and Design Team Leader. His early years were marked by the proficient management of design engineers and overseeing a diverse portfolio of residential, commercial, and institutional projects.
Throughout his tenure, Dan played a pivotal role in the execution of some of our most significant undertakings, including notable projects such as Maine Medical Center and Fort Meade in Maryland. In 2008, recognizing Dan’s aptitude for municipal infrastructure work, we entrusted him with leading this critical facet of our operations.
For many years, Dan spearheaded numerous infrastructure projects and conducted peer reviews for our esteemed municipal clients, South Portland and Portland. As Sebago Technics evolved and underwent restructuring, Dan’s expertise was called upon to lead our engineering discipline and construction services.
In 2017, Dan was appointed Vice President of Engineering, a testament to his unwavering commitment to maintaining the highest engineering standards, practices, and quality within the organization. Since assuming this role, Dan has consistently expanded his sphere of influence, providing invaluable training and mentorship to our team members while maintaining a robust project portfolio.
Over the years, Dan’s dedication to quality engineering, his steadfast commitment to Sebago and our clients, and his willingness to go above and beyond have been evident in every endeavor he undertakes.
“We are proud to recognize Dan’s exceptional contributions to Sebago Technics,” said Mark Adams, President/CEO at Sebago Technics. “His leadership, technical prowess, and unwavering commitment to excellence have played a pivotal role in our continued success.
