Sebago Technics Announces Recent Promotions within Survey-Geomatics Team

Sebago Technics, Inc. (Sebago), an employee-owned, Maine-based, creative engineering collective, is proud to announce several promotions within the company’s Survey-Geomatics Team.

Nick Elliston, PLS, was elevated to Director, Survey-Geomatics Services. Nick joined Titcomb Associates nearly 13 years ago and since joining Sebago as part of the Titcomb Associates acquisition, he has been a key member of the company’s Survey-Geomatics Team.  Most recently, Nick has led all of Sebago’s transportation-related survey-geomatics projects with Maine DOT and other similar agencies, while also managing several other survey-related projects. Nick’s professional work ethic, support, and mentorship of younger team members, coupled with his experience, has aided the growth and development of the field services team.

Jediah Scott, PLS, has been promoted to Professional Land Surveyor/Project Surveyor.  With over 9 years of experience, Jediah has continually gained the knowledge and experience that Professional Land Surveyor Project Managers require. This includes performing surveying field and office work, resolving boundaries, engaging and managing clients, performing business development roles, producing proposals, and assisting in overall survey project business management.  He recently passed the required PLS exam and has been conferred as a Professional Land Surveyor in the State of Maine. With his broad project, client, and business management experience, he now joins Sebago’s esteemed group of PLS Project Managers.

Michael Celeste has been elevated to Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) Field Services Lead. Michael has led work in all Sebago’s survey services areas, including some of the most complex survey projects. He has mentored and taught new team members, and become a FAA Part 107 sUAS pilot, adding more capacity to Sebago’s overall geomatics projects. When the opportunity arose to have a dedicated field lead for HDS/Laser Scanning capture work, Michael, with his background in architecture, coupled with his passion for surveying, was a perfect fit. He will be responsible for leading the field data capture of HDS/scanning projects, and the associated office work for the processing and registration of that information.

Brian Cook, PLS and Oscar Keydel, PLS have been elevated to Survey-Geomatics Field Team Leads.  In this role, Brian and Oscar will be coordinating project fieldwork, scheduling, and resource management for their respective teams of field personnel.  Their new position allows them to share scheduling duties for Sebago’s South Portland office, creating a more responsive and nimble survey team.  This position will allow them to grow in their careers and enable them to master important skills while on their path to Survey Project Manager.
