SOUTH PORTLAND, Maine – Sebago Technics, a Maine-based, employee-owned, engineering consulting firm, is pleased to announce the hiring of Terry D. Bennett, PLS LPF MRICS ENV SP LEED AP, Vice President of Survey-Geomatics.

Mr. Bennett, PLS LPF MRICS ENV SP LEED AP joined Sebago Technics in December of 2020 as Vice President of Survey-Geomatics. Mr. Bennett has had a broad career including positions with surveying/engineering companies, industry software companies and his own consulting businesses.  He is nationally regarded for his knowledge of land-based data management and technologies and is a frequent presenter and author on surveying-geomatics industry topics.  He is a licensed surveyor (NH & ME) and forester, and a Chartered Land Surveyor with the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.

Terry Bennett is a recognized global author, lecturer and industry expert on the impact and use of technology including UAS/Drones and LIDAR Imagery for sustainable approaches to all phases of civil engineering, surveying, and natural resource management. He is a respected professional with extensive experience in AEC/BIM/CAD related technologies and services. Terry is experienced in strategic innovation and planning, industry foresight, implementation and guiding enterprises through change utilizing strong organizational skills and effective strategic leadership. He has a comprehensive background in results-oriented strategy, technology and business market development, and team building.
