As a Project Surveyor – PLS, you will oversee all survey aspects of a project working independently or in coordination with our other Project Managers.

Responsibilities and Tasks

Responsible for coordinating and overseeing all survey work related to a project. You will direct personnel working with you on the survey component of the project being responsible for scheduling with the Survey Manager work to be completed in the field and office. You will be responsible for review of fieldwork, research data, preparing boundary and topographic surveys, preparing existing condition surveys, and overseeing construction layout surveys. Brief the Survey or Project Managers on projects as they are being completed and review for quality control.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Must be able to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing.
  • Familiarity with equipment and software utilized for survey purposes.
  • Ability to make decisions with the company’s best interest in mind.
  • Demonstrate a professional manner while communicating with co-workers and clients.
  • Motivated to provide efficient and cost-effective services to internal and external clients.

Education and Experience

Minimum of four (4) years of experience as a licensed professional land surveyor, or 6 years combined experience and education.
